This glass panel illustrates the seaside using low relief and colours to accentuate the stillness of the beach and create pebbles on the beach with the sea in turquoise. The relief was applied to the back of the panel leaving the front side smooth. The colours of the sea are turquoise, the sky is fading in blue with birds in the sky. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent and sandblasted to let the light through when backlit or near a window.

The front of the panel is smooth and the back is textured.

CONTAINS: 1 round beach panel 29cm | 11 1/2" with a set of 3 fixings and fitting instructions.

FIXINGS: includes a set of 3 fixings and instructions, the wall panel will be 18mm(3/4") away from the wall, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with an allen key (provided) for the panel to slide in and to be tighten again.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
